Dr. David L. Vesely, MD, PhD

We are proud to announce we have partnered with the brilliant Dr. Vesely, who is conducting important biomedical research through his discovery of three heart hormones, produced by the human body, that can aid in eliminating cancer cells. The heart makes 4 hormones which normally help control blood pressure and the amount of salt in one’s body. Dr. David Vesely, M.D., Ph.D., discovered 3 of the 4 hormones. He has found that if one gives 1000-fold more than one’s own body can make, each of the 4 help to eliminate human cancers growing in mice. They eliminate up to 2/3rds of human breast cancers without any surgery and the breast cancers that are eliminated never return in the lifespan of the mice. Likewise, they eliminate up to 80% of human pancreatic cancers in mice and up to 86% in human small-cell lung cancers. If, on occasion, the cancer has spread to a different organ, the spread cancer can also be eliminated by using a different one of the 4 hormones. Funds are needed to bring these discoveries forward so that humans with the above cancers can be treated. We are very proud to be raising funds to advance this biomedical research, which we feel shows great promise!
