Mama Mare Breast Cancer Foundation
Jilly Bean Dream Trip Award

The Jilly Bean Dream Trip Award is in honor of Jill Gregorin Lecorchick, who passed away in August 2015, after battling Stage IV breast cancer for five years.

After Jill was diagnosed back in 2010, her sister Tricia discovered the Mama Mare Breast Cancer Foundation and got the whole family involved. The foundation supported Jill, giving her a check for $5,000 to cover medical expenses and a trip to Cancun that she used on her honeymoon.

In her honor, Jill's family, along with the help of Team Jilly Bean members, want to continue Jill's memory by allowing a breast cancer survivor to take a dream trip of their own. The recipient will be able to choose their destination and have all travel expenses and accommodations paid for, along with some spending money for food and entertainment.

This award will be granted annually at the Mama Mare De-FEET Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk. The recipient will be chosen, with the help of the foundation, based upon their ability to exhibit the same qualities that Jill possessed: courage, a never give up attitude and the willingness to help others that are struggling with breast cancer.

Meet our Jilly Bean Dream Vacation Award Recipients!
Jilly Bean Scholarship Program*

We are devastated to have lost one of our most beloved fighters, Jill Lecorchick. Many of you who have attended our events definitely know Jill and her family. They've always had the largest team at our 5K known as Team JillyBean.

The world has lost a great soul. She impacted all of our lives in more ways than we can explain. She was the very first woman that the Mama Mare Breast Cancer Foundation granted a Survivor's Thrive Grant to, as well as a My Happy Place trip that she was able to use for her honeymoon.

We will forever cherish the memories of Jill's smiling face and always admire her for her strength in the face of adversity.

We will continue this fight for you, Jill, and all others who are still fighting and those who have lost their battles. You can be sure your legacy will live on forever and we will make sure of it.

All of our MMBCF events moving forward will also be in memory of Jill. We ask that you please keep Jill's family in your prayers.

If you would like to be a part of our mission, please consider making a donation to the Jilly Bean Scholarship Program*, to grant scholarships to children whose families have been affected by breast cancer.

*The Jilly Bean Scholarship Fund is currently limited to two (2) student recipients from Monroe Township High School.
